Haven’t posted in a while, I have been busy with work (my real work), but I have been posting on my flickr pictures from my business trips. Below are the two most recent trips. Enjoy.

Last Thursday, while in LA, I decided to attend the book reading of John Hodgman’s new book, More Information Than You Require. The night was most excellent and I met a few cool people.
I would go into more detail, but Colleen, who attended the show, has an excellent account of it. [here] But I will include something I dug up on the interwebs, the highlight of the show for me was the ending and it ended like the show here in Seattle. Enjoy.

I just got back to my hotel, in LA, from a whirl wind trip to San Francisco. All I can say is that I had an amazing trip (I am trying to say away from using the word “epic”), with a lot of thanks and help from Kender.
I got in late Thursday night and Friday I had to work, but I still found a way to get in shopping (I picked up a new pair of Nikes), sight-seeing, a open call at Revision 3, eating, drinking, and some how we wondered our way into the SF Love Fest. I’ll be posting photos once I get them from Kender.

I was a little upset when I found out that I couldn’t make the NIN tour because I was traveling with work (even though I had already purchased two tickets). But after reading these two articles, it makes me regret it even more.
I am starting a training schedule for the Dallas White Rock Half Marathon with my friends. Below is a link to the schedule that I set up. If you are interested feel free to check it out.
Let it marinate for a while… 14 time olympic medal holder Michael Phelps as Aquaman.
How cool will that be?
I just happened to look at the White Rock Marathon’s site (runtherock.com), and it is time to decide whether I want to commit myself to a 16 week regiment of training for another marathon. This year it is on Dec 14th! I ran it for the first time last year, but I injured my knee towards the end of the marathon. That injury kept me from doing anything athletic for most of the year. This year I am thinking about doing the half marathon, I was a little disappointed by my time (both injured and uninjured) and I am hoping that the shorter distance will give me time to build up my speed. We’ll see. Right now it seems that I am commited to too many things, but that is the way that I likes it
Forgive any outages(?), i am currently upgrading to a newer version of wordpress. Why do you ask? It is because of that annoying banner in the dashboard. So there.
